As you may have heard, Duncan the friendly Dragon has been visiting our classroom and leaving us lots of lovely letters and gifts. In his last letter he asked us if we could build him a castle that would remind him of his old home in fairyland. P1/2 were very keen to help so two children went to see Mrs Rigby and ask her if we could spend the day building a castle for Duncan instead of working! Mrs Rigby said that as long as we could tell her what we'd learned through building a castle then she would give her permission. P1/2 were busy all day making stained glass windows, turrets, flags and a drawbridge! Duncan was delighted, and told us this in his next letter.
